Based on Blossfeldt’s close-up photographic study of plants in the 1920s, this set of artworks show the unique talent of the German photographer. Believing that “the plant must be valued as an artistic and architectural structure”, his work captures the beauty of such organic forms. Each of the artwork comes printed on lithographic paper and is set within a washed black frame with a white slip mountboard and mineral glass.
